Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), Serum

Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) regulates the thyroid gland by stimulating the production of T3 and T4 40007, which control Metabolism. The TSH test helps diagnose thyroid disorders such as Hypothyroidism and Hyperthyroidism. TSH function: Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) is produced by the Pituitary gland gland and controls thyroid function by stimulating the production of T3 (triiodothyronine) and T4 (thyroxine) 40007. These 40007 regulate Metabolism, growth, energy, and thermoregulation. When T3 and T4 levels drop, TSH rises to stimulate the thyroid, and when T3 and T4 levels increase, TSH decreases.
Test significance: The TSH test is used to evaluate thyroid function and diagnose conditions such as Hypothyroidism (low thyroid activity) and Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid). It is often used to monitor the effectiveness of thyroid disease treatments.
Diseases: High TSH levels may indicate Hypothyroidism or underactive thyroid function, while low levels may suggest Hyperthyroidism or Pituitary gland dysfunction.
